A Nevada nonprofit corporation created to advance educational opportunity, academic achievement, and responsible AI-powered learning.
Future Ready America: AI-Powered Learning™ was founded on a simple idea: emerging technology should help more students master the fundamentals and help educators extend their impact.
The organization is developing programs for grades 6–8 that connect responsible AI use with traditional classroom instruction, educator training, school partnerships, and evidence-informed pilot implementation.
Future Ready America was incorporated in Nevada in 2026 and is organized for charitable and educational purposes.

Founder & Executive Director
Dr. Mitchell Gurick is the Founder and Executive Director of Future Ready America: AI-Powered Learning™, where he sets the organization’s strategic direction and leads its efforts to help schools adopt artificial intelligence in ways that strengthen academic achievement, expand opportunity, and preserve the essential role of educators.
His work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, organizational transformation, higher education, workforce development, and responsible innovation. Drawing on professional experience at OpenAI, Google, and extensive work as a university instructor and leadership educator, Dr. Gurick brings a practitioner-scholar perspective to one of education’s most consequential challenges: how to translate rapidly evolving technology into safe, equitable, and measurable improvements in student learning.
Dr. Gurick has designed and taught applied learning experiences focused on artificial intelligence, organizational behavior, leadership, team effectiveness, responsible technology adoption, and the human dimensions of change. His approach emphasizes that successful AI implementation is not primarily a technology challenge—it is a leadership, capability-building, and systems-change challenge.
He earned a PhD in Global Leadership and Change from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. His research examines organizational change, virtual collaboration, leadership across technology-enabled environments, and the cultural and institutional conditions that shape how people adopt new ways of working and learning.
As Executive Director, Dr. Gurick is building Future Ready America as a bridge between emerging AI capabilities and the day-to-day realities of schools. He oversees organizational strategy, program design, educator development, responsible-use standards, research partnerships, and impact measurement. Under his leadership, the organization is focused on developing scalable school partnerships that improve middle school outcomes in math, reading, and science while generating practical evidence about what responsible AI-powered learning looks like in practice.
Dr. Gurick founded Future Ready America around a clear principle: AI should expand the capacity of educators and students—not replace human judgment, relationships, or accountability. His vision is to ensure that schools are not simply reacting to technological change, but are equipped to shape it in service of student success, educational equity, and long-term readiness.
